Theatre Development Fund

The Theatre Development Fund is an unrestricted endowment account established for the production program, the University Theatre. Donations to this fund support and enhance the artistic mission of the department. The funds are used to supplement state accounts for the hiring of guest artists, production expenses, audience development, marketing and all aspects of the program.

The generous contributions of donors have assisted our students and program in multiple ways including:

  • Student travel to represent the department at theatre festivals
  • Student and staff travel to Los Angeles to present a student showcase
  • Assistance with production expenses and travel to tour the production of All My Sons to Shanghai, China
  • Facility rental for the Kansas Summer Theatre to perform in downtown Lawrence
  • Expenses to host a reception before a main stage event for all KU Staff

Contributions to the Theatre Development Fund may be made via KUEA.
