Pamela Rodriguez-Montero

Bachelor’s degree in Arts and Visual Communication granted by Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica

Pamela Rodríguez-Montero is a third year MFA student in Scenography. She teaches the Stage Makeup class and works as head of the Makeup and Hair crew for all the University Theater’s productions.

She earned her B.F.A in Arts and Visual Communications from the National University of Costa Rica. Before coming to Kansas she worked in several shows of Dance and Theater in Costa Rica. She has always mixed her strong artistic background with her passion for theater design and technology.

As part of the KU University Theater, she has designed lighting for The Other Shore (2013), The Boys from Syracuse (2014), The Comedy of Errors (2014), Projections for The Last Cyclist (2014), Set and Lighting for Flora the Red Menace (2015) and Costumes for The Big Meal (2014). Her next project includes the design of Set, Lighting and Projections for Johanna Facing Forward that will happen in the Fall of 2015.
