The Performance concentration is for theatre majors who want to prepare themselves for a career as a professional actor. Through small-class studio courses and productions in the University Theatre, our program provides talented performing artists with a solid foundation in acting, movement, voice and speech, improvisation, and musical theatre. Both the B.A. and B.G.S. require 40 hours in the major and fulfillment of the KU Core. The B.G.S. also requires a junior/senior concentration or minor for 18 additional hours.
