Directed Study

Students in theatre may undertake directed study on a topic not offered in department courses or create a capstone project of their own devising. These are typically done in the senior year. Students enroll in either THR 498 (for honors) or THR 499.  These courses fulfill KU Core Goal #6: Integration and Creativity.  Directed study or creative projects must be undertaken through the guidance of a faculty member and with proper permission.  See Advising Information for relevant permission forms.
