Alumni

Alumni of the Department of Theatre are performing artists, teachers, researchers, editors, attorneys, writers, administrators, managers, producers, directors, designers, technicians, film-makers, and leaders of not-for-profit organizations. We are proud of their accomplishments and contributions in the field of theatre and beyond. More importantly than what career they have chosen for themselves, our alumni are thoughtful, invested in their communities, and self-starters.

They are also committed to their alma mater on a level that is unmatched by most colleges and universities. A high percentage of them give back to the KU Department of Theatre by donating to their favorite scholarship or to the academic and production programs. Theatre alums selflessly give to the next generation through our networking and mentoring program and teaching master classes.

We are proud of the relationship we have with our alumni and continue to nurture and celebrate it by hosting a theatre alumni reunion, Alums Come Home on a regular basis.
